Chord progression MIDI — any DAW
- Unzip the pack.
- Drag a
.midfile from theMIDI/folder straight onto a track in your DAW. - Point the track at any chord-capable instrument. Transpose, re-voice, or chop freely.
MPC chord packs — Akai MPC / Force
- Copy the unzipped pack folder onto your MPC's storage (USB or SD).
- On the MPC, open the Browser, navigate to the folder, and load the
.xpmprogram — pads light up as the chord layout. - Each
.progressionin the same folder maps to a Pad Perform chord set. The matching.midriff inMIDI/previews the harmony in any DAW.
Drum patterns — Ableton Drum Rack
- Drag the included Drum Rack
.adgonto a MIDI track to load the kit. - Drag any pattern
.midfrom the pack onto a clip slot on that track. - Patterns are GM-mapped, so any GM-compatible drum kit will play them even if you swap the rack.
Drum patterns — Native Instruments Maschine
- In Maschine, load any kit (factory or your own).
- Drag a pattern
.midfrom the pack onto a Group's pattern slot. Maschine reads GM mapping and routes to the matching pads.
Drum patterns — FL Studio FPC
- Drop FPC onto a channel and load any kit.
- Right-click the pattern's piano-roll area → Import MIDI file → pick a
.midfrom the pack.
Arturia MicroFreak presets
- Connect your MicroFreak via USB and open MIDI Control Center (MCC).
- Confirm the device is on V5+ firmware. Older firmware lines may import only a partial preset list.
- Back up your current preset slots first — sending the project overwrites the targeted range and there is no undo on the hardware side.
- In MCC, choose the project from the pack's
presets/folder and click Send to MicroFreak. - The companion
.midriffs inMIDI/work in any DAW so you can audition the harmony each preset is built around before committing a slot on the device.
Korg Minilogue / Minilogue XD patches
Minilogue and Minilogue XD use different patch formats. Make sure the pack you bought matches your device — original-Minilogue program data will not load on an XD and vice versa.
- Connect your Minilogue (or XD) via USB and open the matching Korg Librarian / Sound Librarian app.
- Back up your current programs first — restoring after an overwrite is only possible if you have an export.
- In Librarian, drag the
.prog_binfiles from the pack into the program slots you want to overwrite, then sync to the device. - Companion
.midriffs inMIDI/preview the harmony each patch was tuned for.
