Frequently asked questions.

Quick answers to what producers ask before buying. Anything missing? hi@theprodvault.com.

Will this work with my DAW or sampler?

MIDI packs work with every DAW that imports .mid: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Reason, Reaper, Studio One, Bitwig, and more. Device-specific packs target a single host: MPC chord packs require MPC Software 2.10+, Drum Rack packs need Ableton 10+, FPC packs need FL Studio 12+, Maschine packs need Maschine 2.x, Korg Minilogue / Minilogue XD packs use the free Korg Sound Librarian, and MicroFreak packs use Arturia MIDI Control Center 2.x. Compatibility is also listed on every pack page. Full step-by-step in the install guide.

Are the packs royalty-free?

Yes. Everything you download is yours to use in commercial releases, beats sold or leased, sync placements, and client work — no per-use fees, no clearing, no attribution required. Each pack ships with a one-page license PDF spelling out exactly what is and is not allowed. See the full license.

Are the files actually editable?

Yes. Every chord progression is real MIDI — drag it onto a track and you can transpose, retime, swap voicings, change instruments, or chop notes the same way you would with anything you wrote yourself. Drum patterns are MIDI on top of your own drum kit. Synth presets are real preset files, not bounced audio. Nothing is locked to a tempo or a key.

What's the difference between the free Sunday drop and the paid packs?

Free Sunday drops are a single pack in a single genre, single format. Paid packs go deeper: every key in the relevant scale, more progressions or patterns per pack, and device-specific formatting (MPC pad maps, Maschine groups, Minilogue program banks). The free drops keep the site moving; paid packs are what producers buy when they need a session-ready kit.

What if I don't like a pack after buying?

14-day no-questions refund on any paid pack. Email hi@theprodvault.com with the order ID from your receipt and we will refund the full amount. Full terms in the refund policy.

Do you store my payment details?

No. Checkout is handled end-to-end by Polar — our merchant of record — so your card never touches our servers. We only see the order id, your email, and the line item. Studio subscription cancellations happen through the Polar customer portal, linked from every receipt email.

How long do download links last?

Paid pack download links live in your account forever — log in any time to re-download. Free Sunday drop links are emailed on signup and expire after 14 days; if a link expires, request the latest drop again from the homepage.
